What happens to our mind when we leave our home country? A conversation about migration, identity and experiences of international students.
To migrate is not simply to change country. It is to change one’s life, one’s culture and, in many cases, one’s whole identity. In this talk with the psychologist and researcher Irene del Valle, author of the book ‘Ni de aquí de de allá’, we will discuss the emotional process of migration: the decision to go, adapting to a new culture, the relationships born abroad and the challenge of coming home as somebody else.
This is a conversation designed for international students who are living or thinking about living in Argentina.
