Itinerary of the bus trip

(Next to Teatro Sarmiento, a few meters away from Plaza Italia)
*Departure from Buenos Aires to Montevideo.
*We ask you to be punctual.
- Friday, 5th of December
- 09AM: Arriving to Montevideo.
- 01PM: City tour in the most emblematic places (Cerro (1), Rambla, Pocitos, Ciudad Vieja (2), etc).
- 10PM: Pre-Party in the Accommodation (optional activity).
- 12PM: Party in a local Reggeton Club. (optional activity).
(1)CERRO: Located adjacent to the bay of Montevideo, Uruguay. With 132 meters high, it was a strategic point to protect the port during the colonization of America. The Cerro de Montevideo lighthouse is located in the Artigas General Fortress, at a height of 148 meters, which makes the entrance to the port of Montevideo safer.
(2)CIUDAD VIEJA: It is the old town of Montevideo. Nowadays, it is also a neighborhood. Home to numerous businesses, government ministries and offices, banks, museums, art galleries and cultural centers as well as restaurants, nightclubs, and bars. is the old town of Montevideo. It retains one of the most emblematic parts, the. Puerta de la Ciudadela, which still stands. It is the emblem of the old fortified Montevideo and was built from 1742. (3)PALACIO LEGISLATIVO: Building built between 1908 and 1925 in Montevideo, was inaugurated on August 25, 1925 as a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. It is the seat of the Legislative Branch of Uruguay. This palace was chosen in 2005 by the Polish film director Krzysztof Zanussi to shoot scenes from the film Persona non grata. Activity included.

- 09AM: We are leaving to Punta del Este.
- 10AM: We visit Atlántida (1).
- 11AM: City tour in Punta del Este.
- 01PM: Free time to have lunch and walk around.
- 04AM: We visit Casa Pueblo (2) and Punta Ballena (3).
- 05PM: We come back to Montevideo.
- 10PM: Pre-Party in the Accommodation.
- 12PM: Party in a local Club. (optional activity).
(1)ATLÁNTIDA: A Uruguayan city and seaside resort in the state of Canelones. In 2005, Atlántida was one of the locations chosen for the filming of Miami Vice due to its art deco buildings that resemble parts of Miami.
(2)CASA PUEBLO: A building build by the Uruguayan artist Carlos Páez Vilaró located in Punta Ballena, 13km from Punta del Este, Uruguay. It was originally the artist's summer home and now includes a museum, an art gallery, a café, and a hotel. It was the permanent residence of its creator, where he worked and spent his last days. Price: $230 Uruguayan pesos.
(3)PUNTA BALLENA: Punta Ballena or Punta de la Ballena is a geographical feature located in the state
of Maldonado (Uruguay). From there, you can see the line that divides the ocean and Río de la Plata.
- Sunday, 7th of December
- 08AM: Check out from the hostel.
- 09AM: We are leaving to Colonia de Sacramento (1).
- 11AM: We will visit Granja Arenas and a local Tannat vineyard (optional activity).
- 01PM: We stop to have lunch Colonia.
- 03PM: City Tour-Plaza de Toros Real de San Carlos (2) and Casco historico (3).
- 08PM: We come back to Buenos Aires.
(1)COLONIA DE SACRAMENTO: Known by the locals as Colonia, it’s the capital of the state of Colonia, in the southwesterneast of Uruguay. Its located in the north bank of Rio de la Plata, 177 kilometres from Montevideo and off the coast of Buenos Aires, which is only 50 kilometres away.
(2)PLAZA DE TOROS DE REAL SAN CARLOS: It is the only square that is maintained in Uruguay and was built in a Mudejar style, very similar to the bullrings of Spain, preserving its arches and fine details.
(3)CASCO HISTÓRICO: The historic center of Colonia was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1995. Its architecture is a mix of Spanish, Portuguese post-colonial architectural styles. The unique preservation of the environment has allowed the use of its streets as the sets of several period films.
- Monday, 8th of December
- 06AM: We arrive to Buenos Aires.
